Well, I just realized I'd been numbering my days wrong. So instead of day 11, it's day 12. I don't care, really. I don't need to take another math class EVER. So there.
Going home tomorrow for the weekend. Going to get together with The Usual Suspects to have an Essentials party. Allow me to fill you in:
The Usual Suspects are me, Kai, Vad, Cokersan, Big Sarah and Little Sarah. Once upon a time, Cokersan, movie buff that he is, decided to interview tons of people about what they thought were the five greatest movies ever. These results were comprised into a list of a sort of cinematic bucket list. So, for the last fourteen months, we have all gathered at his house, squeezed onto his couch, and watched three or four movies. I've seen such classics as Casablanca, 12 Angry Men, A Christmas Story, and others.
This time, however it'll be different. Instead of watching movies at his house, we're going to see Ponyo (Hayao Miyazaki's latest) and the Time Traveler's Wife. The first I'm stoked about, the second, not so much. I've never read the book, and I have no intent to. I have no desire to see the movie, either. I'd rather re-watch Ponyo, personally. MLIA.
Toby scared me yesterday. He refused to be more than six feet away from me at all times, and all he would do was lay in the corner, and when we told the dogs to go 'night-night' in their kennel, he looked at me like I'd just kicked him. But he seems better now.
We rented some movies last night. Vad thought it was a crime that we had never seen Swiss Family Robinson. We also rented Corpse Bride and Treasure Planet. Now that all three have been watched, the results are thus: I want to live in the Treasure Planet universe and be a space pirate, Kai and Vad want to live on the island in SFR, and Tim Burton is awesome.
Even though it's 1:30, I'm not hungry for lunch. But Kai is making mushroom ravioli. It's enough for two, but Vad's such a picky eater (it's really funny) that she won't have any. I personally don't like ravioli (the filling is too grainy), but I might as well eat something.
The block still hasn't been taken off my schedule, so no class, no books. Can't figure out the sports pass deal, which sucks. Need to do laundry today.

The mushroom ravioli was amazing. :6 And you make me sad for not wanting any AND for not wanting to read/see The Time Traveler's Wife. It's such a good story!
ReplyDeleteBitch, please, Time-Traveler's Wife is an amazing book. Don't be such a racist.
