Day 27

Listening to Beethoven's 5th makes me feel powerful. Especially the beginning of it.

DUN-DUN-DUN-DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNN!!!!!!

Makes me happeh.

So, I had a breakdown yesterday. I don't remember what triggered it, but I remember the factors.

I hadn't seen another human being in days
I had to clean the kitchen
Sophie would not stop snoring
Sophie had just peed on the carpet again
I didn't know how to chop up a cantaloupe
Casey the upstairs dog was howling
Facebook wasn't working (and still isn't)

I think that's it, really. And I know, the cantaloupe thing sounds minor, but when I'm having a breakdown, I try to find everything that's wrong with life, and that just piles up.

So, yeah. I'm all right now, I think. I need to go to the store again today, there're a few things I forgot to get. I may also go by Best Buy and pick up a DVD or something. I really wanna watch Labyrinth. David Bowie had the raggedy hair and tight pants WAY before some kid decided to wear his bangs over one eye and write awful poetry.

Knowing Japanese makes the word 'emo' a lot more fun. Right, Kai? Vad? Cokersan?

Now, for those of you who took Spanish in high school, let me fill you in. The pronunciation of the word 'emo', 'ee-mo', sounds like the Japanese word 'imo'. Wanna know what 'imo' stands for? Do ya? Do ya? Huh? Well, too bad, I'm telling you anyway. Imo means potato.

Yes, you read correctly.

I remember, Kai and I were in Tokyo and eating dinner with my friend Saki and one of her friends, and we had this long joke about a kid named 'potato'... I couldn't stop laughing, and Saki and her friend were all 'wtf mate'. It was truly epic.

Anyway, I think I'm actually looking forward to classes starting. It means that I can actually go and do things, maybe even socialize. That would be nice.
