Day 19

Well, Kai's moving out today. And I don't have to help. So that's good. But Sophie has kennel cough, and that's not good. I'm bringing Kai, Scott and Mom lunch today around noon, but until then I can do whatever. Which is lovely.

I have to go to the front office today. Apparently, my a/c is crap. So that's what I'll say.

grr arg... The only problem with Mom coming up is that SHE BROUGHT TONS OF MY STUFF.

Now, don't get me wrong: I like my earthly possessions. But I have been blessed with quite a few of them, and they will not all fit in my apartment, which is the size of a postage stamp. I now have another large piece of furniture: A rather spiffy desk. It's a bit old (read: older than dirt, and not in a cool vintage kind of way) but it has cabinets and drawers and hidey-holes for all my crap. There are also quite a few boxes, full of pretty much useless stuff. I have found, however, a few treasures, like a 3-hole punch, an external hard drive, and the cute Domokun plushie that Cokersan got me for Christmas last year. Other than that, the stuff is almost overwhelming.

My room back home is a wreck. I have tried to make it so my apartment doesn't follow. But with so much stuff, it's getting hard.
